My now 3 year old daughter LOVES to cook/bake and I try to encourage her curiosity with as many different recipes as I can. I came across this site when looking for OREO ideas. It was easy to make and surprisingly looked exactly as the picture does, which was encouraging for my daughter because she felt she did it right. It's good to know the photos aren't photo shopped or just pulled off the internet.
We now have the site added to our bookmarks and whenever she wants to bake we scroll to the picture she likes and make a list of ingredients for our next kitchen adventure!
This site is a GOD send! I've recommended it to everyone we passed the cupcakes to. As for taste... DELISH! DLEISH!! DELISH!!!

This was the perfect mommy and me project!!! You should always beat at medium speed and when beating in the eggs you should beat to just combine because the addition of eggs and beating in the eggs is what holds air in the batter. And it could also be that you filled the muffin cups a tad too much. Baking at low heat helps to prevent cracking and yes they should have been baked at the lower temperature. The higher heat could have contributed to the expansion of the batter causing the "puffing" up creating the dome. Generally cheesecake has very little flour and usually added to prevent cracking. I do hope you'll give them another try. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Good Morning Jose, quite possibly you beat the batter too much and at too high a speed. My cupcakes poofed up and actually look like cupcakes as opposed to the pictures posted. Did I beat (whip) the ingredients too much? Also, is the baking temp 275F as well? I kicked it up to 350F. Is the lower temp due to it being a cheesecake mix instead of flour based?

Howdy!
